Privacy Policy

Vyona Health, Inc. ("Vyona," "we," "us") is building an at-home menstrual sample test that turns your period into a clearer picture of your reproductive health. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.

What this policy covers

This policy covers vyonahealth.com and the waitlist on it. Two things fall outside it:

• Client and partner data. Biomedical, health, and clinical data provided to us by research and healthcare partners is governed by individual client agreements, not this policy. See Client and partner data below.
• The Vyona test kit and app. We are not collecting samples yet. Before any kit ships, we will publish a separate, fuller privacy notice covering sample handling, lab testing, and health records, and you will have to agree to it before you can order. See Samples and health data.

The waitlist

If you join the waitlist, we collect and store:

The follow-up question is optional

The answer options, including painful, heavy, or irregular periods, say something about your health. We treat that answer as sensitive health information. We ask for your explicit consent before storing it, we use it only for the purpose above, and you see the question only after your email has been added to the waitlist. You can skip it entirely. Answering, skipping, or withdrawing consent does not affect your place on the waitlist.

How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist entry until our first kits launch and you have had a chance to order, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever comes first. If the product does not launch, we delete the list. We do not keep waitlist entries indefinitely "just in case."

Getting off the list

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email us at the address in Contact and ask us to delete your entry. We will do it, and we will not ask you to justify it.

What we will not do

• We do not sell your email address or your interest answer. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone.
• We do not use them for third-party advertising, and we do not upload them to ad platforms to build audiences.
• We do not share them with employers, insurers, or family members.

Website analytics and cookies

We use product analytics to see how this site is used in aggregate: which pages people read, which links they arrive from, where they stop scrolling, and how many people join the waitlist. This tells us whether the page is doing its job.

This involves a cookie or similar local storage, and we collect your IP address in transit to approximate your country. We configure our analytics to mask form inputs, so what you type into the email field is not captured in analytics, and we honour the "Do Not Track" signal if your browser sends one.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels from ad networks, or cross-site retargeting on this site.

Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers who process it on our behalf, under contract, and only for the purposes described above:

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or of Vyona. If we are ever involved in a merger or acquisition, we will give notice before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Where your information is stored

Our service providers store data in the United States. If you are in the UK, the EEA, or Switzerland, your information is therefore transferred to the United States, and that transfer relies on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Samples and health data

We are not collecting menstrual samples, running lab tests, or holding health records yet. Founding kits are planned for Spring 2027. Everything described on this site about hormones, HbA1c, blood loss, the vaginal microbiome, and endometrial signals describes the product we are building. These services are not available yet.

Before the first kit ships, we will publish a separate privacy notice covering sample collection, laboratory testing, results storage, and retention and destruction of biological samples. You will have to read and agree to it before you can order a kit. Joining the waitlist does not commit you to any of that.

We do not sell your health information. Authorised Vyona personnel and service providers may need to process information to deliver the service. The forthcoming kit privacy notice will explain the roles of laboratories and other service providers, and how access to samples and results is limited.

Client and partner data

Separately from the consumer product, Vyona provides data infrastructure and analytical tools to biomedical, healthcare, and research partners. Biomedical, health, and clinical data provided by those partners is governed by individual client agreements, not this policy. It is processed solely to deliver contracted services. We do not sell, share, or use client data for any purpose beyond the scope of each client engagement, and we maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate for protected health information.

Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy of it.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it. For the waitlist this is straightforward, and we will confirm when it is done.
• Withdraw your consent to us holding your interest answer, without losing your place on the list.
• Stop emailing you, while keeping or deleting your entry, as you prefer.

Email the address in Contact to exercise any of these. We aim to respond within 30 days. We will not charge you, and we will not treat you differently for asking.

If you are in the UK, EEA, or Switzerland

Our legal basis for emailing you launch updates is your consent, given when you join the waitlist. Our legal basis for storing your interest answer is your explicit consent, because it may reveal health information. Our legal basis for basic, aggregate analytics is our legitimate interest in understanding whether this website works. You may withdraw consent at any time, you may object to processing based on legitimate interest, you have the right to data portability, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in California

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and why, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for behavioural advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. The right to know and to delete still applies, and the categories we collect are listed in The waitlist and Website analytics above. Your interest answer is "sensitive personal information" under California law; we use it only for the purpose stated and not to infer characteristics about you.

Children

This website and the waitlist are not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has joined the waitlist, email us and we will delete the entry.

Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest, and access controls that limit who at Vyona can reach the waitlist. The waitlist database is not readable from the public internet. In the event of a security incident affecting your information, we will notify affected parties promptly and in accordance with applicable law.

No system is perfectly secure, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of vyonahealth.com and the waitlist. Access to Vyona's platform by biomedical, healthcare, and research partners is provided under separate written agreements.

Not medical advice, not a diagnostic service

Vyona is not a diagnostic service. Nothing on this website or in a future Vyona report constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and none of it should be used to make a medical decision on its own or to delay seeking care. Bring results to your clinician. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of licensed healthcare professionals. If you think you have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency service.

The report figures on this site are illustrative

The sample report shown on this website contains illustrative values and interpretation context for the purpose of showing what a report may look like. They are not real results, not anyone's results, and not a promise about what your results would say.

The product is not available yet

Founding kits are planned for Spring 2027. Statements on this site about what Vyona will measure, when it will launch, what it will cost, and where it will be available are forward-looking descriptions of a product under development. They may change, and the product may not launch at all. Nothing here is an offer to sell, and no price is guaranteed.

Joining the waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free, creates no obligation on either side, and is not a purchase, reservation, or contract for the supply of anything. It does not guarantee you a kit, a place in any launch group, or any particular price. You agree to give us an email address you are entitled to use, and not to submit other people's details. We may remove entries that appear automated or abusive.

Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to join the waitlist.

Acceptable use

Please do not attempt to disrupt this website, gain unauthorised access to it or to our systems, submit automated or bulk signups, or scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people.

Intellectual property

Vyona retains all rights to its platform architecture, methodology, models, and the content of this website. Clients retain ownership of their data and any analysis outputs generated for them under their agreements.

Limitation of liability

This website is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vyona disclaims all warranties and limits liability for any damages arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Changes

We may update this policy and these terms. If we make a change that materially affects how we handle information you have already given us, we will email the address you gave us before the change takes effect. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
